YK11 has become one of the most popular SARMs and PEDs in recent years. It is seen as a miraculous compound that has the potential to break genetic limits by inhibiting the most troublesome molecule for building muscle in the body – myostatin.
Many users want to experiment with injectable YK11, but the problem arises when they try to do research as only a small number of users have actually experimented with it and given detailed reports online from which we can learn from.
When it comes to the science, YK11 has only been tested on mice once (in a very recent study). So from a scientific standpoint, there’s also a lot we don’t know.
This article is a comprehensive guide on injectable YK11 based on the current scientific literature and the anecdotal reports and experiences from users online.

What is YK11?
YK11 is a steroidal SARM of the 19-Nor family that’s also meant to act as a myostatin inhibitor. These characteristics make YK11 an extremely powerful and versatile molecule that can be used to overcome genetic limitations and revolutionize the game of bodybuilding.
Unfortunately, the research is still lacking and the only supporting evidence are thousands of users that are experimenting and seeing incredible results with the oral form of YK11.
The injectable form of YK11 is less popular and has been reserved for the more experienced users willing to experiment with it making comprehensive information hard to come by.
Benefits of Injectable YK11
- Myostatin Inhibition
- Muscle Growth
- Increased Strength & Performance
- Fat Loss
- Increased Bone Density
- Increased Recovery
Myostatin is a protein that limits the growth of muscle cells. In the eyes of athletes and gym goers, it’s a curse, but from an evolutionary standpoint its development makes perfect sense as an overly muscular physique isn’t ideal for survival.
The way YK11 inhibits myostatin is by promoting the production of a myostatin antagonist called follistatin.
The amount of muscle you can get from YK11 as a primary agent in your cycle is unclear, as 99% of users are taking it with other SARMs and AAS as a means to leverage its ability to inhibit myostatin and boost the anabolic potential of whatever it’s stacked with.
But, YK11 is certainly very anabolic and it will increase muscle mass significantly.
The injectable form of YK11 has been taken mostly as a standalone compound and the gains in lean muscle mass have been incredibly promising and comparable to that of some AAS.
Strength & Performance
Injectable YK11 will make you gain a lot of strength, as 19-Nors are notoriously famous for accumulating strength gains.
Unfortunately, YK11 is also notorious for causing stiff joints as a result of myostatin inhibition. A side effect that can offset strength gains.
Stiff joints have been especially common amongst injectable YK11 users that ran it on high doses for periods longer than 6 weeks.
Low levels of myostatin are correlated with fat loss, so YK should be very effective at burning. The oral form hasn’t been reported to be particularly effective.
When it comes to injectable YK11, numerous users are reporting rapid fat loss almost instantaneously. This can indicate that injectable YK11 is much more potent than oral in terms of myostatin inhibition, or, it can indicate that it simply has other fat-loss properties that we don’t know of.
Bones & Joints
All SARMs including YK11 will strengthen and densify your bones. But when it comes to joints, YK11 is reported to heavily stiffen and weaken them.
Especially with the injectable form, but more in that in the side effects section.
YK11 will make you recover significantly faster. Users report a level of increased recovery unseen with other SARMs and even some AAS.
YK11 is often compared to Winstrol and Masteron when it comes to affecting your looks. When combined with other compounds it can really blow you up in size while keeping you lean and dry.
Side Effects of Injectable YK11
- Testosterone Suppression
- Liver Toxicity
Whether YK11 just causes testosterone suppression or a complete shutdown is still unclear as it’s always used with other compounds. Some users have reported very mild suppression and others complete shutdown.
When taken with other SARMs or anabolics it’s safe to assume that it will cause a complete shutdown, so a testosterone base and a PCT will be warranted.
Injectable YK11 will most likely (not certainly) shut you down completely regardless of what you take it with.
Low testosterone symptoms include:
- Decreased libido
- Weaker erections
- Lack of motivation
- Constant fatigue
- Testicular pain
- Weaker erections
YK11 also reduces SHBG, which always leads to an increase in free testosterone levels during the initial weeks of a cycle. This will boost libido, motivation, and overall well-being (only if you have a testosterone base).
YK11 will mess up your lipid panel and by the end of your cycle your HDL will be considerably lower and LDL considerably higher.
The effect of injectable YK11 could prove to be as harsh as some AAS, as the oral form is often compared to some oral steroids in terms of dyslipidemia.
Oral YK11 is known to be significantly more hepatoxic than other SARMs based on heaps of anecdotal bloodwork. The reason for that is that it is a methylated oral steroid (unlike any other SARM).
Injectable YK11 is not methylated, thus it might have a very mild impact on the liver at most.
Androgenic Side Effects
YK11 should not cause any androgenic side effects on paper as it is not a DHT derivative. Though there are still many people reporting hair loss, acne and aggression with the oral form.
With injectable YK11 these might be more prominent.
The standard “ideal” dosing range for oral YK11 is 5-10 mg/day as it’s been shown to be effective and the side effects manageable.
When it comes to injectable YK11, users are running it at 10 to 50 mg/day. Which is considerably higher than the oral dose, but also much better tolerated considering the absence of liver damage.
A dose of 30 mg/day was consistently reported as the most effective, and best-tolerated dose of injectable YK11.
My advice is this:
Start with the smallest dose, 10 mg/day, and see how well you tolerate it and how well it works. If everything is fine, up the dose in two weeks, and so on.
Ideally, you should stack it with something that you already have experience with, so that you can accurately tell how it’s affecting you.
Beware of Fake Injectable YK11
Real injectable YK11 is still very rare, as it’s somewhat of an exotic compound. Fake injectable YK11 can lead to unwanted side effects or absolutely no effects at all – as seen in some of the anecdotal reports.
Always research your source, and only buy from well-known and trusted vendors that have been around for a while and have a positive track record in the SARMs community.
When it comes to YK11 there is still much we don’t know from a clinical, scientific standpoint, but thanks to the experiences and reports of hundreds of users that have taken experimented on themselves we can make some conclusions.
Injectable YK11 has been reported to be more effective, and much safer than some injectable steroids – at least in the short term. It has been reported to cause immense fat loss, tightness, and at the same time fullness and fast growth.
One downside is that at high doses (50 mg/day) users reported unbearable joint stiffness which handicapped their ability to lift heavy. This is why you should always start with low doses and work your way up.
In any case, injectable YK11 is extremely promising as it stands right now, but to make solid set-in-stone conclusions we simply need more scientific and anecdotal data.
