ACE-031: The Myostatin Peptide

Share Article:

NOTE: ACE-031 is a peptide that I’ve always refrained from covering because it is NOT worth using at all. However, I have received so many requests to cover it that I’ve finally decided to do so.

ACE-031 is a peptide that acts as an analogue of activin receptor type 2B (ACVR2B). What is that? ACVR2B is a protein that binds to and deactivates Myostatin, the protein responsible for limiting muscle growth.

In other words, ACE-031 is peptide that can accelerate muscle growth in humans by removing the limiter: Myostatin.

Even though studies have shown that it can be quite safe and effective, ACE-031 is not very popular among bodybuilders because it has always been hard to find.

This post will teach you how ACE-031 works, what to expect from it and WHY it is NOT a viable drug for bodybuilders to use.

Benefits of ACE-031

The main function of ACE-031 is to inhibit myostatin. By doing so, this peptide can help us brake plateaus and gain a lot more muscle than it would otherwise be possible.

However, myostatin inhibition is not just good for muscle growth. It also leads to increased bone density and decreased fat accumulation, meaning that ACE-031 can indirectly strengthen bones and promote fat loss when cutting or reduce fat gain when bulking up.

And yes, ACE-031 is proven to work at inhibiting myostatin as shown in the clinical trials.

Side effects of ACE-031

ACE-031 has undergone two clinical trials, and it was shown to be effective and relatively safe in both cases (one was conducted on young boys with a muscular dystrophy disorder, and the other one was conducted on healthy postmenopausal women).

However, those studies only tested it for short periods of time (only one shot in the case of the postmenopausal women), so we have to take their seemingly positive results with a grain of salt.

Myostatin inhibition is linked to cardiac hypertrophy (in the very long run) and decreased tendons and ligament strength (which can facilitate injuries).

We could also argue that low myostatin is linked to a decrease in fertility, but that only seems to occur when myostatin is inhibited via increasing follistatin. ACE-031 works through a different pathway, so it may have a neutral effect on fertility.

How to use it?

Now, 1mg of ACE-031 is generally sold for $100. The study on teenagers used 0.5mg per kg, injected every 2 to 4 weeks.

Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that an 80kg bodybuilder (176lbs) wants to pin ACE-031 once a month to keep his myostatin low. How much would that cost?

Well, if the dose is 0.5mg/kg, that means he needs to inject 40mg every month. If 1mg is $100, he needs to inject $4000 worth of ACE-031 every month, which is absolutely ridiculous.

What if we were to use 1mg every 2 weeks, for a total of $200 a month? That’s still expensive, but within the reach of many bodybuilders. But that would probably be a waste of money, because anecdotal reports have shown that using such low doses yields no results…

TL;DR: ACE-031 is promising, but the supply is so limited that the price is ridiculously high. Avoid.

Everything you would ever want or need to know about SARMs, and how to properly use, maximize, and recover from them.

The SARMs Wiki is the culmination of 7 years worth of knowledge coming from independent experimentation with myself and hundreds of my clients, probably thousands of hours of research, going through every study, and the online reports of thousands of SARMs and PED users.

If you're ready to spend 150$+ on SARM cycles, why not do it right from the very start and save yourself the troubles of dealing with the nuances and complications of PED use?

The Peptide Wiki is an all-in-one guide that will give you a deep understanding of how each peptide works and how you can use them correctly and find the perfect one (or stack) to reach your goals (16 Total Most Popular Peptides Covered).

Not only will you learn how these peptides work in your body, but you will also learn how to prevent their potential side-effects, and how to reconstitute, dose, and store use them correctly (super easy to mess this up).

If you're going to spend hundreds of $ on Peptides, you might as well do them right.

I wrote this ebook/document with one goal in mind: To share the info that has helped dozens of my clients completely turn their sex lives around.

  • Improve penile function
  • Get harder fuller and longer-lasting erections
  • Increase your stamina in bed and last longer
  • Go more rounds
  • Increase semen volume
  • and more...

Everything that I have to say on how to do bloodwork as an enhanced (or to be enhanced!) lifter.

Which markers to test, how to read the results, how often to get each marker tested, and more.

I wrote this short e-book at the requests of some of you guys who were interested in taking PHs but did not know where to find reliable information about them. This is my attempt to summarize everything you NEED to know about using PHs as safely as possible.

I also explain what supplements to take in order to stay as healthy as possible during your cycles and what to do in order to recover properly after the cycle (PCT).
