CJC 1295 is an incredible peptide commonly used to burn fat, build muscle, and improve longevity, and quality of life. It’s a synthetic peptide analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone – a hormone that stimulates growth hormone production (it’s in the name).
CJC 1295 is administered through subcutaneous injections at a dose of 2 mg/week.
It is sold as a powder and must be reconstituted to be injected.
Unfortunately, many people don’t know how to do the reconstitution properly so they often end up with a damaged and less effective peptide as a final product.
This article will teach you how to properly reconstitute, dose, and store your CJC 1295 in a simple step-by-step manner.
Instructions
CJC 1295 comes in two forms – with DAC and without DAC.
DAC is added to extend the half-life of CJC 1295, but it makes no difference in the reconstitution process.
CJC 1295 can be reconstituted in bacteriostatic water (BAC) or sterile water. I recommend bacteriostatic water as that’s what peptide vendors use and sell.
The reconstitution process is the same regardless of what kind of water you use.
To do the reconstitution you will need:
- Vial of CJC 1295
- Vial of bacteriostatic water
- Syringe & Needle of any size
- Alcohol wipes
Step 1.
Remove the plastic caps from the vials of BAC and CJC 1295 and wipe the rubber tops with an alcohol wipe. After that, you can extract the BAC and insert it into the CJC 1295 vial.
Step 2.
Use 1 – 5 ml of bacteriostatic (BAC) water per vial of CJC 1295. I recommend using 1 – 2 ml.
With other peptides, you should always write down the amount of water you use, but with CJC it doesn’t matter since you will be using the entire vial in one go (2mg per week injected once).
Step 3.
Ready your syringe, and insert the needle into the bacteriostatic water vial. Extract the desired amount of water and remove the syringe.
Clear out any bubbles by pointing the needle vertically upwards and tapping the syringe so that the bubbles float towards the exit. Then simply push them out.
Step 4.
After you’ve filled the syringe with liquid insert the needle into the peptide vial and aim it towards either side/wall of the CJC 1295 vial.
Slowly inject the liquid down the wall of the vial and into the powder.
Never aim the liquid directly at the CJC 1295 powder as you might damage it and decrease its effectiveness.
Step 5.
Depending on the size of your syringe you might need to repeat this process if you decide to transfer more than 1ml of water.
Step 6.
Once the bacteriostatic water and CJC 1295 are in one vial, slowly swirl it around in a circular motion so that the powder and water mix. Take your time, it might take a few minutes for the powder to fully dissolve.
Never shake the vial.
Step 7.
Refrigerate your freshly reconstituted CJC 1295 and use within 30 days.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Don’t use the same needle and syringe that was used in the reconstitution to perform your first injection.
Depending on the quality of your CJC powder, you might find that there’s still powder left in the liquid even after following each of the steps. If that is the case, then the CJC 1295 is not high quality.
You can buy the highest quality CJC 1295 along with bacteriostatic water from any of the recommended vendors on the trusted sources page. All the listed vendors are widely known, have readily available 3rd party lab test results, and have a good reputation in the community. You’ll also get the highest possible discounts per shop :).
Key Points To Remember
CJC 1295 should be reconstituted in either bacteriostatic or sterile water, preferably the former as that’s what peptide vendors advise.
The reconstitution process is the same regardless of what kind of water you decide to use.
Reconstituted CJC should always be stored in a fridge, and used within 30 days of reconstitution. Because CJC 1295 peptide vials come in 2 mg of powder, and that’s also the weekly dose, it would be wise to reconstitute it in as little as 1 to 2 ml of liquid so that it’s easier to inject.
