Myostatin inhibition is a truly fascinating subject. As you probably know, myostatin is the protein that limits how much muscle mass our bodies can grow. Inhibiting/reducing it can not only facilitate muscle growth but also help us break through plateaus and reach superhuman levels of muscularity.
There are a few different myostatin inhibitors on the market, with the most popular ones being YK-11, ACE-031 and Follistatin 344. YK-11 and ACE-031 work by increasing the levels of follistatin, which is the protein that counteracts the effects of myostatin. Follistatin 344 is simply an exogenous form of follistatin that causes a direct decrease in myostatin levels.
ACE-083 is a relatively new and incredibly promising myostatin inhibitor that is starting to make waves in the underground enhanced bodybuilding community. Unlike the aforementioned myostatin inhibitors, ACE-083 has been shown to work in a localized way, meaning that it only lowers myostatin wherever we inject it.
This localized action has some advantages and disadvantages compared to traditional systemic myostatin inhibitors…
Since ACE-083 is still relatively new and there is virtually no data about its use in humans, it would be irresponsible of me to provide dosing guidelines. Furthermore, no research chemical vendors offer it yet. That being said, I expect it to hit the market in the coming years.
